Do you take insurance?
Bluebird Bio-Consulting operates as a cash-pay, out-of-pocket practice and does not bill insurance directly. This allows us to bypass the restrictions of standard healthcare, giving us the freedom to spend a full 60 minutes together and order advanced, comprehensive functional labs that standard insurance typically refuses to cover. However, we proudly accept HSA and FSA cards for all clinical packages and testing.
Do I have to go to a clinic to get my blood drawn?
No. We replace the inconvenience of clinic waiting rooms and standard blood draws with advanced, at-home functional testing. Depending on your specific package, your custom lab kit will arrive directly at your door with everything you need to easily collect urine, saliva, or stool samples from the comfort of your own bathroom. When you are finished, you can simply schedule a pickup with the shipping carrier to collect the samples directly from your front porch or office.
Are our appointments in-person or virtual?
All consultations are 100% virtual. Our telehealth model allows you to receive high-level clinical care from the comfort of your couch, making it seamless for busy professionals and mothers to prioritize their health without the commute.
Will I be passed off to a health coach or another provider?
Never. When you book a package with Bluebird Bio-Consulting, you work exclusively with me. You are guaranteed a one-on-one clinical partnership with a licensed Doctor of Pharmacy from your initial discovery call through your final maintenance plan.
Why should I work with a Clinical Pharmacist instead of a general health coach?
Health coaches provide excellent foundational wellness support, chronic issues like severe fatigue, complex hormone imbalances, and weight loss resistance require advanced clinical intervention. As a licensed Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), I possess deep expertise in how your endocrine system, cellular pathways, and current medications interact. I am currently on birth control. Can I still do hormone testing?
Yes, but our approach will shift slightly. If you are currently taking a combination hormonal birth control pill, patch, or ring, your natural sex hormones will appear suppressed on testing. In this case, our testing will focus strictly on mapping your adrenal health, cortisol rhythms, and metabolic markers to get your energy and vitality back online. To test accurate baseline sex hormones, you must be off hormonal birth control for three full cycles.
How long will it take for me to start feeling better?

Do you treat patients outside of Idaho?
Due to strict state licensing regulations, Bluebird Bio-Consulting services and functional lab kits are exclusively available to permanent residents physically located within the State of Idaho.
